March 2009

So, as I sit here just updating a extremely overdue website, I find that there are so many things I say and do everyday that helps you girls along to success, that a blog would be extremely appropriate!

I Myspace.
I Facebook
I even Twitter for crying out loud! (well, I have an account at least!)

So, for every yabbering that I do to you guys in person, I will follow up with a recap here on the blog just in case, in your carb depleted and over trained moments of life leading up to your shows, you actually MISS something, no worries...I got ya covered!

This weekend, March 28th, 2009 is the first show of the Season here in the Pacific Northwest. A Frank Boehm & Tanji Johnson Enterprises Production, this show always sets the tone for the year. I had the pleasure of competing in it several times, and dear IFBB Fitness Pro Sister, Sandy Grant won the First ever Figure Division in Washington State here back in 2001. She also then traveled to the Emerald Cup 2 weeks later and captured that title as well!

The show is located at Skyview High school in beautiful and now very modern Vancouver, WA...Salmon Creek area to be more specific. I always look forward to this show every year. Our SG2Victory Team girls all walked with trophies last year! Great Job ladies! I'm hoping that this year - Evelynn, Sue, Kathy, Catalinia, Darci, Honna and new attendee Rebecca will get that same reward!  We are all Non-Exclusive here, so many of these ladies have their own trainers, nutritionists, and we just put the finishing touches on their physiques with posing, make up and hair, and in some cases, a swift kick in the hiney to get things going in the right direction!

A special shout out to my Merry. www.merrychristine.com - her blogs are incredible by the way, go check 'em out!
Merry has ready made suits at a CRAZY AFFORDABLE GORGEOUS FANTASTIC Price and delivery is spot on. Almost all of our girls got suits from her this year, and they are simply, the most perfect things every handcrafted. Thanks for your hard work and dedication to make these girls so damn pretty!

A HUGE Thank you to Mike Davies of the Fitness Factory. Julie Palmer - you get a big hug and kiss from us too! www.mikedaviesfitness.com
Mike is simply the best contest nutritionist and trainer in the world, and I owe him my life's bodyweight in gold. He is very affordable for the athletes that use him, he delivers some pretty incredible athletes year after year, and I trust him with all of my athletes and friends. If you have a moment, please check him out - he's such a big name, but you should see what he can actually do with you, for you, and frankly TO you! We have the extreme pleasure of hosting him here in Bellevue, WA for a BOOT CAMP WEEKEND. Please stay tuned to this site, along with him for updates. We are planning a summer time visit this year with the heavy contest schedules...

And on a special note, SANDY GRANT, what can I say about you?! You are not only my big Sis, but  my best friend in the whole wide world. (Sandy and I talk on the phone at least 10 times a day!) Thanks for pulling my butt in the gym so long ago, bestowing this blessing on me, allowing me to pay it forward to all of these girls in our lives, and for being my little pit bull! You've always been MY biggest fan, and you know that I am YOURS. Lots of little sister hugs and kisses! xo

I would like you all to visit www.jimwallingford.com and his fantastic site. He is our Professional Photographer for SG2Victory, and he shoots all the shows. He shoots incredible Individual Photo shoots including family portraits and Senior portraits as well. Jim just upgraded ALL of his gear so he is officially a force to be seen. A note to him for always taking time to talk with the girls, we are a great team for the shoots, and look forward to working another year with you! XO Love YOU!
