SG2Victory - Posing Practice

Hi Ladies!!!

Okay, I've been SICK, and most recently IN BED for days at a time, so please forgive me for not staying in touch as much as you're used to!

(yes, slowly getting better, thank you!)

As our First Practice for the Summer and Fall shows approaches us, I wanted to make sure that you all will be prepared when the day arrives!

SUNDAY, May 24th
11am
approx. 1 hour
$35

FIRST: SHOES
If you have not purchased your first pair of POSING HEELS, let's get you all taken care of! If you have not read my blog yet, this is a great resource as to WHAT KIND of shoe and WHERE to purchase!
If you are UNABLE to purchase shoes at this time, please let me know (sgfitness@yahoo.com ) and we can "go thru" your heels and choose one that will work for now!

SECOND: WHAT TO WEAR
Hey, I get it...we are quite a few weeks or months from your shows, so, we can be somewhat lenient on what you can wear to practice in order to make you feel confident, but just outside your comfort zone to create....confidence with being in a suit.
So, Please wear Either a Bikini....Shorts and a bikini top...tight pants and a bikini top...short or pants with a STRING Tank top or sports bra...something that shows enough of your LATS (from the front!). No worries on the first practice. We will learn what works best as we go!
***NOTE: For those of you who wear obnoxious suits that cover your physique and distract the eye...It may be in your best interest to purchase a plain MCB stock suit to practice in. $75 for Black, Navy or Crushed Pink Rose! All sizes available. Please let me know if you want me to bring them to practice for purchase.

THIRD: WHAT TO BRING
Sidekicks gym has a full locker room for changing as well as a restroom.
Please bring your own water, your next few meals (YES, Bring your food!), along with a small hand towel in case you get a little warm from flexing for 45 minutes!
You are more than welcome to change when the door opens (promptly at 11am, not before, sorry!). We like to get started somewhat quickly, but you don't have to travel with your suit on (unless you want to!).

FOURTHLY: (LOL): WHATS GONNA HAPPEN?
I like to make sure that everyone is at the same speed when we start. Since we have a high number of "newbies" beginning, We will have this practice take a bit longer so we can first begin with the basics of posing for your sport. On Sunday we can book one-on-one's for the next few weeks if you ladies feel you need a bit more individualized instruction. (Basically everyone will have AT LEAST one or two one-on-one's...)
1) Posing basics head to toe
2) Front & Back poses
3) Left & Right Side poses
4) Walking in your heels - what grace?!
5) Basic show introduction
The reason why we have practice every week is to go over the MILLION things you'll need to know by your show. Slamming you with all of that information all at once will guarantee that you'll forget over half of it. I teach gradually in hopes that you'll retain what you've learned, Practice what you need to, and come back next week with an open mind on what's to come next.

FIFTH: HAVING FUN AND MEETING THE TEAM!
The best thing about competing is the group of other like-minded athletes like yourself that you get to meet, hang out, and train with!
Oh, and I will be taking pictures of your progress too!

OPTIONAL:
If you are wanting to Purchase a COMPETITION BINDER ($40) or schedule a BODY FAT TESTING + PIX ($15) - please let me know no later than FRIDAY morning May 22nd.

Please RSVP thru this email and let me know if you will (Or will NOT) be attending! I need to get my print-outs all prepped, and don't want to misprint! By FRIDAY MORNING May 22nd Please!

For those of you who are RETURNING Athletes, Let me know when you are available to meet this weekend (Saturday or Monday) to go over your contest plans. (at Shannon's house)

Thanks Everyone! I am so excited for you all! check out the NPC Schedule for YOUR show!

See you all Sunday!

~Shannon
