I had the pleasure again of pal'ing around with photographer Mike Pinto, who shot the show for Muscular Development. He's a fantastic person, and I always have a ton of fun talking with him. He takes some of the best pictures, well, besides Mr. Jim Wallingford (http://jimwallingford.com/ )! I got to give the man his props for being one cool Motha...

Congrats to all the athletes.

This year's show was held for the first time at the Snoqualmie Casino...the venue I'm familiar with going to for the MMA fights, Rumble at the Ridge series. It was so packed in there, standing room was the only thing left in the house. TOTALLY different from years before when held in Everett, and Meydenbauer center in Bellevue where the booths were inside, and the lighting was up so you could meet and talk with your fitness friends in the back w/ the booths! This was a more traditional show, where you have a seated venue to sit and watch.

Unfortunately, the seating was so tightly crammed, I sport an impressive 7 inch bruise on my shin area where, when moving out of the way of a very sweet grandparent, the folding chair collapsed on my leg as i propped myself up to give clearance. The lighting for the night show was great, and the show was very entertaining. Presenter Kim Farrison is just spectacular, has charm, charisma, and is HILARIOUS...Thanks Kim for making it such a great show.....every show....every time! I'd love to see Kim up there at the National shows, and as an IFBB MC!

It was also Great to see Nate Detracy guest perform! He's headed to Nationals in November...Good luck Sir!

The Bikini girls went on first. First time I've seen the bikini division inserted into prejudging & evening shows, instead of a "all in one contest" where the ladies step on, judges tally, then awards are given.

Michele Mayberry IFBB Pro Routine Guest Performance
Bikini introduction & Awards
Fitness Routine (there was one athlete, and she did wonderful!)
Jr. Division Routine & Awards
Master's Mens & Womens Bodybuilding Routines & Awards
Novice Men's and Women's Bodybuilding Routine & Awards
Todd Scott / Nate Detracy / Todd Jewell Guest Performances
THEN FIGURE......almost 3 hours (it was 2.75 hours into the show) was when we get to the Figure gals

...I have all the girls show up at least an hour early, so here is the learning curve to all athletes (and myself!) BRING SEVERAL MEALS OF FOOD AND WATER AND A COZY COVER -UP JUST IN CASE YOUR DIVISION IS PUSHED BACK IN THE SHOW, OR IF THE SHOW IS LONGER THAN USUAL!

By then, standing in the back talking to the SG2Victory athletes families & a few friends, I was excited to get them up & awards given out! After the ladies got their awards, I searched a bit for the girls, said my goodbye's...and left. I was pretty exhausted by then, and I was under the weather, I just couldn't imagine going through the whole Open Bodybuilders routines...(Sorry Steph!!!)...I had to leave!

On a special note, thanks to future figure athlete Sabrina Kessler for hanging with me! Everyone look for her in the spring!!! She's a doll and is going to bring a FANTASTIC physique to the stage in 2010!

Great to see all the off season athletes too! We are a pretty close knit fitness family, and it's always great to see the ladies at the shows!

SG2Victory had 4 athletes, and I am so proud of each one! Congrats ladies! You did a WONDERFUL JOB!
